Microsoft has been a strong Partner while implementing the OAS Development Cooperation Fund, Multinational Project “ Preparing Students for 21 Century Employment in the Caribbean”. Through one of their flagship Programs, the comprehensive e-learning curriculum, “Teaching with Technology”, they helped 250 teachers in Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts & Nevis and St Vincent & the Grenadines to be prepared for the “Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE)” Exam. This exam certifies that educators have the global educator technology literacy competencies needed to provide a rich, custom learning experience for students. Through a single exam, MCE demonstrates that educators have achieved technology literacy competency in six content areas, mapped to the UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers, Technology Literacy: Education policy, Curriculum and assessment, Pedagogy, ICT/technology tools, Organization and administration and Professional development.
